![]() ![]() I'm wondering if I can import IMDB data (director, release year, etc) into the MKV as well. If iFlicks finds it, it can load metadata from IMDB. I checked the existing metadata for the files, using mdls on Mac, however there seems to be no information that can be used to easily identify the file through a simple search. I've been manually getting the 'Cover.jpg' for my files so they show up on my WD TV player. ![]() They are obviously not using just the filename for the show, because when I used a file named Episode 17.avi, which was actually supposed to be Heroes - S01E17, but had been incorrectly renamed a few months back, iFlicks is also able to pull the information from tmdb correctly. iFlicks will automatically check for metadata (though you can change this in its Rules settings), and display what it has found. For example, if I provide a name such as 264-mtb, iFlicks is able to return to me the Exact show name, Friday Night Dinner, the season, S06, the episode number, 06, along with cast, ratings, description and much more information about the show, all pulled from tmdb. Drag some video files to the left section of the iFlicks window. However, I am not able to figure out how they are using the API to search for data. I found this app, iFlicks.app, which seems to do a wonderful job at using get metadata about a specific show. #Adding imdb tag to iflicks movieI'd like to be able to include Movie posters, actors, and much more information on the iOS device when the user clicks on the requested movie files. I am building an http server in Java to stream movies / TV Shows from a Mac/windows to an iOS device. ![]()
